Dr. Sunny Umar Represents Maldives Halal Travel at Jakarta Halal Expo 2024

Dr. Sunny Umar has represented Maldives Halal Travel at the 2024 Jakarta Halal Expo and Conference (JHEC), where he participated as one of the key speakers. 

During his address, Dr. Umar highlighted the Maldives’ leadership in halal tourism, focusing on the country’s dedication to providing tailored halal-friendly travel experiences. He also touched on the growing opportunities for investment in this niche market.

Maldives Halal Travel was also a media partner for the event. The JHEC, held from 30th August to 1st September 2024, was organised by Lima Events in collaboration with KPMI (Komite Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam).

Key topics included the strengthening of global partnerships, innovations within the halal sector, and Indonesia’s potential as a major player in this rapidly expanding industry.
