The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that all Maldivian passengers travelling to India must complete an e-arrival card online prior to departure.
The new requirement came into effect on 10 October 2025. Passengers are advised to fill out the form within 72 hours of their flight using the official link provided by Indian authorities.
The Ministry clarified that this update does not affect India’s visa policy for Maldivian nationals. All travellers are urged to complete the e-arrival card to ensure a smooth entry process upon arrival in India.
