The Ministry of Education reports that 1,663 students are enrolled in the HSC exams, while 3,842 are registered for Edexcel A Levels, and 443 for Cambridge A Levels.

The Cambridge A Level exams will run from 30 September to 14 October, followed by the Edexcel A Level exams, which will commence on 8 October and conclude on 31 October.

Minister of Education Dr Ismail Shafeeu has raised concerns regarding the pass rate for A Level students, which has yet to reach 50 per cent. He emphasised that improving the quality of teaching is crucial for achieving the desired educational outcomes, noting that the sector requires an additional 2,700 teachers to effectively address the challenges it faces.
