Over 100 Houses Damaged Across Ten Islands in November Rainfall, Says NDMA
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has revealed that ten islands have reported damages from rainfall in November, with 110 houses affected.

The islands impacted, and the number of houses damaged are as follows:
- Dhaalu Bandidhoo: 2 houses
- Dhaalu Hulhudheli: 1 house
- Gaafu Dhaalu Madavelli: 3 houses
- Haa Dhaalu Nellaidhoo: 1 house
- Noonu Maafaru: 1 house
- Raa Rasmaadhoo: 1 house
- Seenu Feydhoo: 2 houses
- Lhaviyani Kurendhoo: 97 houses
- Seenu Hulhudhoo: 1 house
- Seenu Maradhoofeydhoo: 1 house
The total repair cost is estimated at over MVR 1.1 million. Lhaviyani Kurendhoo has been the most severely impacted, with nearly 100 houses damaged. NDMA has confirmed that compensation will be provided to those affected by the damages.
