Assistance was also provided to those experiencing mental health difficulties. The helpline is designed to offer 24-hour support to people of all ages, including problem-solving assistance, information, and advice on additional services if needed.
The ministry stated that it is ensuring all mental health providers are licensed professionals, while also conducting specialised training programmes for helpline call agents. Efforts are underway to further strengthen the service by enhancing its technical capacity and developing comprehensive mental health policies.
While various mental health services are available in the country, the government has reiterated its commitment to expanding these services nationwide.
