MMWM Seeks Donations for Annual Ramadan Iftar Meal Distribution

Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives (MMWM) has launched its annual donation drive to provide iftar meal packs for migrant workers during Ramadan.

In a social media post yesterday, MMWM stated that it aims to expand its efforts this year after distributing 15,000 meal packs to migrant workers in Malé and Hulhumalé during the previous Ramadan.

“Last year, with your generous support, we distributed 15,000 iftar meal packs to migrant workers in Malé and Hulhumalé. This year, we aim to go even bigger and reach more people in need, but we can’t do it without you!” the organisation said.

Encouraging contributions, MMWM urged the public to “donate a meal, help a life” with as little as MVR 50 per iftar pack.
