Gov’t Offices to be Closed Last 10 Days of Ramadan

The President’s Office announced yesterday that the last ten days of Ramadan will again be government holidays this year as well. 

This decision follows a directive issued on February 4, 2024, which designates the final ten days of each Ramadan, starting from 1445, as official government holidays.

This year, the break will begin on Thursday, March 20. Government offices will remain closed until Thursday, April 3, 2025, including the Eid-al-Fitr holiday and two additional public holidays following Eid.

The directive also instructs government authorities to ensure the continued delivery of essential services and to communicate operating hours to the public during this period.
