Ooredoo Concludes Inter-Resort Esports Tournament Across Maldives

Ooredoo Maldives has successfully concluded the country’s first Inter-Resort Esports Tournament, drawing an enthusiastic response and highlighting the remarkable gaming talent emerging within the hospitality sector. The tournament brought together 16 teams representing 10 resorts from across the Maldives, fostering camaraderie and competition among resort communities.

The tournament, part of Ooredoo Nation’s continued efforts to grow and diversify the local esports ecosystem, saw fierce competition among resort teams, with cash prizes awarded to the top three teams in each title.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Winners:

🥇 1st Place – MVR 5,000: Joali Being 2

🥈 2nd Place – MVR 3,000: Waldorf Astoria Maldives

🥉 3rd Place – MVR 2,000: Joali Being

PUBG Mobile Winners:

🥇 1st Place – MVR 5,000: Holiday Inn Kandooma Maldives

🥈 2nd Place – MVR 3,000: Niyama Private Islands Maldives

🥉 3rd Place – MVR 2,000: Summer Island Maldives

The tournament was held entirely online, enabling resort teams from across the atolls to participate without needing to travel, ensuring inclusivity and wider access for all interested gamers.
