President Extends Condolences to Pakistan Following Deadly Floods

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has expressed his condolences over the loss of lives and widespread destruction caused by recent flash floods and heavy rains in Pakistan.
In a message shared on his official X account yesterday, the President extended condolences to the Government and people of Pakistan.
“In this moment of hardship, the Maldives stands shoulder to shoulder with the government and the brotherly people of Pakistan,” he wrote.
Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives and the large-scale devastation caused by the recent flash floods and heavy rains in Pakistan.

According to Al Jazeera, the death toll from the flooding in northwestern Pakistan is now over 330.
