The Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has participated in the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) to promote its products and expand its presence in international markets.

The fair, organised by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, is taking place in Xiamen, Fujian, from 8 to 11 September 2025. Delegations from over 110 countries and regions are attending the event, with 51 countries hosting exhibitions.
MIFCO has set up a stall at the fair to showcase its range of products. Visitors have the opportunity to sample these offerings, highlighting the company’s aim to introduce its products to the Chinese market in particular.
MIFCO’s participation in CIFIT follows its recent presence at the Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives (FHAM) Fair in Hulhumalé Central Park, where the company reported strong interest in its stall.
The company’s engagement at both events reflects its ongoing efforts to broaden its business and strengthen international market outreach.
