MPL Signs Agreement With Alia Investment for Kulhudhuffushi Yamaha Facility

Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has entered into an agreement with Alia Investment to establish a Yamaha service centre at the Kulhudhuffushi City Port.
The agreement was formalised at a ceremony held at MPL headquarters, with MPL Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Rishwan representing the company and Alia Investment Managing Director Alau Ali signing on behalf of Alia.

MPL stated that the partnership includes plans to strengthen logistics and expand maritime connectivity in line with the development of the Kulhudhuffushi dockyard. The company also highlighted its commitment to increasing revenue and improving services to meet rising demand from different regions.
Alia Investment indicated that the initiative marks the beginning of a broader partnership with MPL. The company currently operates service centres in various parts of the Maldives and intends to expand these operations through the new collaboration.
The Yamaha service centre in Kulhudhuffushi is scheduled to commence operations within six months.
