Immigration to Cancel Long-Uncollected Passports After Year-End

Maldives Immigration has announced that passports not collected by their owners for an extended period will be cancelled after 31 December 2025.

Authorities noted that some passports remain uncollected months after issuance.
Authorities have requested that individuals who submitted their passport applications more than six months ago collect their passports before the year end. Passports not collected by this deadline will be cancelled in accordance with immigration regulations.
