MNDF Conducts Training Exercises in Malé Ahead of Victory Day

The Ministry of Defence has announced that the Maldives National Defence Force will be conducting operations in Malé City in preparation for next month’s Victory Day celebrations.

According to the ministry’s statement issued on Thursday, activities will continue in the capital until 3 November. The exercises involve the use of simulated explosives, including blanks commonly used for military training.

The ministry stated that such operations are conducted periodically by the armed forces. The activities form part of ceremonial drills and wider military training carried out in the area.
