Nepalese Woman Reported Missing From Malé City Found Safe

A 19-year-old Nepalese woman who went missing from Malé City last week has been found safe, the police have confirmed.

Purnima Gajmer was reported missing on 23 October. The police announced in a statement that she was located on Sunday morning and was safe.

Authorities had sought the public’s assistance in locating her on 24 October, a day after her disappearance was reported. Purnima was last seen at around 2:00 pm on 21 October.

The police have not released any details regarding the circumstances of her disappearance.
