Immigration Opens Walk-In Recruitment for 70 Trainee Officers

Maldives Immigration has announced a walk-in interview to recruit 70 trainee officers, scheduled for Saturday, 01 November, from 08:30 to 16:30 at Salahuddin School in Hulhumalé.

According to the agency, applicants must meet specific academic and age requirements. Candidates are required to have at least a ‘D’ grade in two subjects at Secondary School Certificate level or equivalent, and a minimum ‘C’ grade in the Higher Secondary School Certificate or a Certificate III qualification under the National Qualifications Framework. Applicants must also be under 30 years of age as of 1 November 2025.
Individuals attending the interview must bring a completed job application form, a Curriculum Vitae, a copy of their national ID card, and educational certificates.
The position offers a basic monthly salary of MVR 6,500, along with a service allowance of MVR 1,500. After completing basic training, officers will receive a 35 percent special service allowance in addition to their salary.
This is the second walk-in recruitment event conducted by Maldives Immigration this year. The previous session, held on 25 May, drew 876 applicants for 50 available posts. Following that process, 200 trainee officers were hired, while 150 vacancies remain to be filled.
Walk-in interviews, where candidates attend without a prior appointment, continue to be widely used by major employers in the Maldives to streamline the hiring process.
