The Ministry of Social and Family Development has announced the opening of a bid to procure consultancy services for the Picnic Island Development Project, an initiative aimed at developing designated picnic islands in every atoll of the Maldives.

In a bid notice issued yesterday, the ministry said it is seeking a qualified party to provide consultancy services for the project, which is intended to develop islands specifically for public picnic use in atolls across the country.
