First Lady Attends Maldives Girl Guides Association AGM, Organisation Outlines Future Priorities

The First Lady and Chief Guide, Sajidha Mohamed, attended the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Maldives Girl Guides Association, held at Mookai Hotel this morning.

The President’s Office stated that during the meeting, members approved the minutes of the 2024 AGM and presented the annual and financial reports for 2025, highlighting key achievements and outlining the association’s financial standing.

The association presented a token of appreciation to Niumath Shafeeq, Chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee of WAGGGS, in recognition of her contributions.

The meeting concluded with discussions on future plans and priorities aimed at strengthening the Girl Guides movement in the Maldives. Senior officials and members of the Maldives Girl Guides Association were in attendance at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
