The ministry said details on eligibility requirements, priority fields of study and other relevant information are available on its website, alongside the official announcement. Additional information can also be accessed through the Australia Awards Maldives website.
Applicants selected for the programme have been advised to ensure, before travelling, that both the chosen institution and course are recognised by the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA).
The ministry also stressed that candidates enrolling in professional or licensing programmes must confirm that the training centre is recognised by the relevant regulatory bodies, such as the Maldives Allied Health Council, Maldives Nursing and Midwifery Council, Maldives Medical and Dental Council or the Civil Aviation Authority, and that the course itself holds the required accreditation.
