Elderly Man Injured After Fall From Fifth Floor of Male’ Hiya 1

An elderly man was injured today after falling from the fifth floor of Male’ Hiya 1, a government housing complex in Malé City.

Police said the incident was reported at 06:50. The man, identified as a 60-year-old Maldivian, was transported to the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The extent of his injuries has not been confirmed. Police said the incident is under investigation.
