New Correctional Service Portal to Go Live Tomorrow; Families and Lawyers Urged to Re-Register

Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) will launch the new MyMCS Portal tomorrow, urging users of the previous system to re-register on the updated platform.

The new portal, accessible via e-Faas, allows the public to submit various requests and manage interactions with the correctional service digitally. Features include:

• Requesting the clearance of a criminal record.
• Allowing families of prisoners to request visits.
• Enabling lawyers to schedule meetings with prisoners.
• Submitting documents to verify connections with inmates.

MCS has emphasised that all previously registered users must create a new account on the updated portal, as requests sent through the previous system after 19 February 2026 will not be processed.
