President Appoints Hassan Shafeeu to Judicial Service Commission

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Hassan Shafeeu as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), representing judges of the High Court.

Hassan Shafeeu took the oath of office and signed the declaration of membership at a ceremony held today at the President’s Office. Justice Uz Mohamed Saleem of the Supreme Court of the Maldives administered the oath, after which President Dr Muizzu formally presented the letter of appointment.

The appointment was made in accordance with Article 158(c) of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives and Section 3(3) of Law No. 10/2008 (Judicial Service Commission Act).
