RDC Awarded MVR 341 Million Contract for Thinadhoo Road Asphalt Project

The project to lay asphalt on additional roads in GDh. Thinadhoo City has been awarded to the Road Development Corporation for MVR 341 million.
The agreement was signed at the Ministry of Housing for the third phase of road repairs in Thinadhoo City. The contract was signed by Housing Minister Dr Abdulla Muththalib and RDC Managing Director Ibrahim Nazeem.

Under the agreement, asphalt will be laid on 50 roads covering a total distance of 19.3 kilometres. The project also includes the establishment of a water drainage system to address flooding, the installation of signboards and the construction of pavements.
The contract stipulates that the project must be completed within four years.
North Thinadhoo MP Saudulla Hilmy and South Thinadhoo MP Mohamed Alsan Ahmed were in attendance at the signing ceremony.
