Maldives Customs Service Opens Recruitment for Over 40 Assistant Officer Trainees

The Maldives Customs Service has announced the opening of applications to recruit 48 Assistant Officer Trainees across its offices nationwide.
The position offers a basic monthly salary of MVR 5,000, in addition to allowances amounting to MVR 4,660. Trainees will also receive a daily attendance allowance of MVR 75, along with food allowance, overtime and holiday pay. Total monthly earnings are estimated to reach MVR 11,000.
Applicants are required to have completed GCE O Level or an equivalent qualification, with at least a D pass in two subjects and a minimum C pass in secondary school examinations. Candidates must also successfully complete a physical fitness test conducted by the Maldives Customs Service.
Eligibility is also extended to individuals holding a Level 3 qualification in a field related to customs work, provided they have at least a C pass in O Level Dhivehi. Those who have completed the National Service Programme or a recognised national training programme with certification are also eligible to apply.
The opportunity is open to applicants aged between 18 and 30, with age calculated as of the end of March.
The deadline for applications has been set for Wednesday, 1 April.
