Qatar Airways has confirmed that it will resume flight operations between Doha and Malé following a temporary suspension linked to regional tensions in the Middle East that disrupted key air corridors.
Under a revised schedule, the airline will restart services from 8 April 2026, operating up to five flights per week between the two destinations.
The resumption restores a significant international air link for the Maldives, supporting inbound tourism and facilitating outbound travel. The route also strengthens connectivity from key feeder markets, including the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.
Qatar Airways has introduced a flexible rebooking policy for passengers holding tickets for travel up to 15 June 2026, allowing adjustments amid continued uncertainty in the region.
The Visit Maldives Corporation has advised passengers to travel only with valid confirmed bookings, noting that some flights may remain subject to operational changes.
