Raya Mansoor, artist and co-founder of Maldivian lifestyle and design brand Oevaali Art Shop, has been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, earning recognition for building a business inspired by Maldivian culture and expanding its reach to international markets.
Forbes highlighted Mansoor’s role in co-founding Oevaali Art Shop in 2015 alongside her sister, Raniya Mansoor. The brand produces jewellery, accessories, stationery and home goods inspired by their upbringing in the Maldives.
The sisters operate stores in Malé and Singapore, which also serve as gallery spaces showcasing their artwork. Oevaali products are sold online to customers in several countries, including China, Malaysia, Italy and France.
Forbes noted that Mansoor is a self-taught artist whose paintings were recently exhibited at Galeria Azur in Berlin.
Responding to the recognition, she expressed gratitude for being included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, describing it as an incredible honour.
