First Lady Attends 10th Anniversary Ceremony of IGMH Cardiac Centre, Unveils New Name

During the ceremony held to mark the 10th anniversary of IGMH’s cardiac arrest centre (L to R) EO of Male’ City Group of Hospitals, Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem, first lady Saajidhaa Mohamed, Minister of Health Geela Ali.

The First Lady, Sajidha Mohamed, attended a ceremony this morning marking the 10th anniversary of the National Cardiac Centre at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The event was held at Dharumavantha Hospital, where she was received on arrival by the CEO of Male’ City Group of Hospitals, Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem.

During the ceremony, the First Lady unveiled a new name and logo for the centre, officially rebranding it as the National Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences.

A video presentation was also screened, highlighting the centre’s decade of operations and services since its establishment.
