Ilyas Labeeb, the presidential candidate of The Democrats, has made a commitment that students will not need to initiate loan repayments until they secure employment.

Speaking at a campaign event, Ilyas commented on the challenges faced by students who pursue higher education abroad with the aid of loans. He highlighted the situation where these students often find themselves obligated to begin repaying loans even before they are financially stable.

This, he pointed out, frequently results in students relying on parental support to quickly clear their debts upon completing their higher studies. Ilyas, however, assured that his administration would not require students to start repaying their loans until they secure employment.

Furthermore, Ilyas announced his intention to review the existing regulations related to repaying substantial loans, a burden that many students currently shoulder. He also committed to introducing a more straightforward repayment system for such loans.
