Amidst an evolving global landscape, he underscored the necessity of shielding the country from viewpoints on Islam that diverge from the established norm.

Moreover, Faris shed light on the significance of devising religious policies that perpetuate the genuine tenets of Islam. He advocated for these policies to be harmonious with the wider spectrum of governmental directives, and stressed the imperative for scholars to be equipped to defend the unadulterated principles of Islam and engage with the populace.

To this end, he proposed an expansion of educational opportunities for religious scholars across the country.

Furthermore, Faris accentuated that the notion of freedom is not solely contingent upon military strategies or territorial conquests, but can also be influenced by diplomatic affiliations forged with external entities for political motives. In this vein, he pledged to undertake efforts to ensure the Maldives’ status as a steadfastly Muslim nation.
