Tourism Minister Dr. Abdullah Mausoom Joins MDP

Tourism Minister Dr. Abdulla Mausoom has officially joined the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).

Mausoom solidified his affiliation with the MDP during a special ceremony held at Salt Cafe yesterday. The membership formalities were completed with the presentation of Mausoom’s membership form by the distinguished senior MDP leader and current presidential candidate, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

This transition comes after Mausoom’s departure from the Jumhooree Party (JP) on the 7th of this month. His decision to leave the JP was accompanied by his announcement of endorsing the MDP presidential candidate for the impending presidential election.
