Jumeirah Maldives Claims Victory in Tekkers Resort Cup North Kaafu Atoll 2023

The Tekkers Resort Cup’s North Kaafu Atoll zone reached its end with Jumeirah Maldives claiming victory over Kurumba Maldives, yesterday.
The encounter unfolded in two halves, as Kurumba Maldives took the initial lead, only to have Jumeirah equalize before the halftime whistle.
The host team, Kurumba, surged ahead again, met with a response from Jumeirah’s players. As the second half neared its conclusion, Jumeirah secured a free kick opportunity, which was executed by Hussain Saif Moosa, propelling them to a lead that secured their victory in the finals.
Hussain Saif Moosa of Jumeirah Maldives emerged as the standout player of the match, earning the title of the game’s “Man of the match”. Ahmed Shuzuny of Jumeirah Maldives was recognized as the tournament’s best coach.
Among the zone’s top-performing players, Ahmed Thoif and Mohamed Ishaan from Jumeirah Maldives, along with Abdulla Ahil Ali and Mohamed Waheedh from Kurumba Maldives and Ali Ageed from Jumeirah Maldives showcased exceptional skills.
The top scorer of the North Kaafu Atoll zone was bestowed upon Hussain Saif Moosa, who netted a total of nine goals for Jumeirah Maldives throughout the competition. Notably, Hussain Saif Moosa secured yet another distinction as the best player in the North Kaafu Atoll region.
