HRCM to Host “Hagguge Sallaa” Focusing on Voters with Special Needs

The Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM) is set to host “Hahguge Sallaa” online meeting programme open to the public, with this session addressing voters with special needs.
"ޙައްޤުގެ ސައްލާ" ޕްރޮގްރާމަކީ އިންސާނީ ޙައްޤުތަކުގެ އެކި ދާއިރާތަކުގައި ހުރި މައްސަލަތަކާއި، ގޮންޖެހުންތަކާއި، މައްސަލަ ޙައްލު ކުރާނެގޮތްތަކާއި ގުޅޭގޮތުން މަޝްވަރާކުރުމަށް އާންމުންނަށް ހުޅުވައިލައިގެން އޮންލައިން މީޓިން ޕްލެޓްފޯމެއްގައި ކުރިޔަށް ގެންދާ ޕްރޮގްރާމެއް.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on 4th September 2023 and HRCM has extended an invitation to interested participants to register before 16:00 on the same day.
މިފަހަރުގެ ޕްރޮގްރާމް އަމާޒުކޮށްފައިވަނީ ޚާއްސަ އެހީތެރިކަމަށް ބޭނުންވާ ފަރާތްތަކުގެ ވޯޓުލުމުގެ ޙައްޤާއި ގުޅޭގޮތުން މަޝްވަރާކުރުމަށް.

The meeting will cover a number of questions such as the Methods of voting implemented for people with various disabilities and questions from the audience present.
The program will host a variety of NGO’s and Government institutions as well as common citizens, according to a comment given by HRCM to MV+.
The initiative is designed with the objective of facilitating discussions on a range of issues, challenges, and potential solutions in the realm of human rights.
