Yellow Alerts Issued from Central Southern Atolls

The Maldives Meteorological Office (MET Office) has issued double Yellow Alerts for different regions in the country, spanning from Kaafu Atoll to Meemu Atoll and from Gaafu Alif Atoll to Addu City. 

From 12:15 PM to 4:15 PM, the alert covers Kaafu Atoll to Meemu Atoll. Meanwhile, from 10:15 AM to 2:15 PM, the alert spans from Gaafu Alif Atoll to Addu City. 

Torrential rain can pose various hazards, including localized flooding.

During the specified periods, residents in the affected areas are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
