MMC Announces Election Candidates

The Maldives Media Council (MMC), today, has unveiled the list of candidates set to participate in the upcoming Media Council elections. 

The election day is scheduled for the 23rd of September 2023.

The contenders in this race are Ahmed Mizmaadh as candidates No.1 and Mohamed Mamshoog Marzoog as candidate No.2.

MMC is a 15 member body elected by the Maldives media to preserve, promote and maintain the freedom of press, within the legal frame work.
