The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has issued a call to citizens, urging them to exercise their right to vote with integrity ahead of the upcoming presidential election.
ACC President Adam Shamil emphasised the crucial role of voting with integrity in preserving democracy and shaping the future of the nation. He encouraged voters to remain vigilant against any efforts to influence their choices, underlining the significance of actively resisting bribery.
To facilitate the reporting of bribery incidents related to the presidential election, the ACC has launched a dedicated online portal. The commission disclosed that several cases have already been submitted through this platform and are currently under investigation.

The portal allows any individual to report cases of electoral bribery concerning specific individuals. The ACC has designed the portal to safeguard the anonymity of the reporting individuals, while updates on the progress of each case will be conveyed to them anonymously.
Furthermore, the ACC has assured protection for whistleblowers and has urged individuals to provide comprehensive information through the portal.
