Villa College Commences September 2023 Classes with Orientation Week

Villa College has officially commenced its academic year for the September 2023 intake, marked by an orientation week from the 17th to the 21st of September 2023, during a special session at both the Villa College QI Hall and the Ocean View Hall last Thursday.

The orientation week served as an introduction for incoming students, providing them with valuable insights into academic learning, college procedures, available faculties, and campus facilities. It aimed to help newcomers familiarise themselves with the college environment and its offerings.

Dr. Ahmed Anwar, the Rector of Villa College, extended a warm welcome to the freshman class, encouraging them to embark on their academic journey with dedication and a commitment to upholding high standards of academic integrity.

The orientation session also featured a presentation by the Villa College Registration Department, introducing students to the institution’s executive staff and their roles in supporting the academic community.

Notably, this semester, Villa College is presenting a range of programs, including courses affiliated with the University of the West of England (UWE). This collaboration provides students with an opportunity to earn their degrees from an institution based in the United Kingdom, all while studying locally.

In a bid to ease the financial burden on students, Villa College continues to offer monthly installment plans for course fees. This flexible payment option ensures that students can comfortably manage the cost of their chosen programs.

Moreover, students eligible for the government grant scheme for first degrees have an exciting opportunity to significantly reduce their course fees through the monthly installment plan.
