Eva’s Father Joins Solih’s Campaign

Parliament’s Deputy Speaker Eva Abdullah’s father, Abdullah Mohamed, has thrown his support behind President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih as he embarks on his re-election campaign.

Abdullah Mohamed, who also happens to be a cousin of President Solih, has a longstanding close relationship with the incumbent president.

Currently, Abdullah Mohamed is in V. Atoll, actively participating alongside Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) campaign teams to garner support for President Solih.

Meanwhile, Eva Abdullah, known for her critical stance towards the government, has chosen to align herself with The Democrats, a political party initiated by President Mohamed Nasheed following the MDP presidential primary.
