During the first round of the election, voters were marked on their left index finger. However, for the second round scheduled for this Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ECM has opted for a distinct ring finger marking system.
ECM is employing a marker that leaves a long-lasting and indelible mark on the ring finger.
With 586 ballot boxes to be set up for the second round, there are a total of 282,804 eligible voters, comprising 138,394 women and 144,410 men. It’s worth noting that this time, the voter list has expanded with the addition of 408 individuals compared to the first round.
Ballot boxes will also be placed in five countries overseas: India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
