President Solih Acknowledges Cabinet’s Collective Efforts 

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih expressed his appreciation to Cabinet members for their collective efforts over the past five years during a cabinet meeting today.

During the meeting, the President acknowledged the government’s progress in fulfilling the promises outlined in its manifesto and commended the collaborative efforts of the council of ministers in achieving these objectives. He emphasised the importance of addressing pending manifesto commitments even during the remaining days of the current session.

In light of the ongoing transition, it was decided to establish a specialised team to facilitate a smooth handover of responsibilities.

The Cabinet members, in turn, expressed their gratitude to President Solih for his exceptional leadership in pursuing the government’s manifesto goals, particularly in the face of challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian-Ukraine war.
