Swearing-In Ceremony for President-Elect and VP-Designate Scheduled for Nov 17

In accordance with Article 114 of the Constitution, preparations are underway for the formal swearing-in of the President-elect and Vice President-designate in a parliamentary session on Friday, November 17.

The announcement was made by the Peoples Majlis earlier today, affirming the adherence to constitutional protocols. 

Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has been elected as the President-elect, while Hussain Mohamed Latheef (Sembe) will assume the role of Vice President-elect.
