MTCC Reports Progress in Phase 3 of GA. Villingili Harbour Development Project

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on the progress of the GA. Villingili Harbour Development Project, in phase 3. They have successfully received the fifth shipment of rock boulders required for this phase at the project site.
The fifth shipment of concrete blocks requried for phase 3 of the GA. Villingili Harbor Development Project has been delivered to the project site. New harbor basin dredging work has reached 75% completion, and quay wall concrete works have reached 89% completion.

Dredging operations within the harbor basin have reached a completion rate of 75%. Additionally, the construction of the quay wall is currently at a completion rate of 89%.
Scope of works includes dredging and excavation operations of 59,536.80 cbm harbour basin, construction of a 275m breakwater, a 613m revetment, a 105m groyne, and a 685m quay wall.
The project is valued at MVR 107.86 million.
