The accident transpired while the VP was en route to Hulhumale’ from Male’.
In the video footage, VP can be observed engaging with the injured individual who had fallen during the incident. Additionally, he is seen communicating with someone via a mobile phone.
The video also showcases the response of Hulhumale’ Hospital personnel who were on-site following the incident.
Reportedly, the VP called an ambulance to transport the injured party to the hospital and remained at the scene until the individual received was sent to the hospital.
