Sri Lanka Commits to Full Support for New Government

Sri Lankan High Commissoner Adam Maznavee Jaufer Sadiq has affirmed its commitment to the newly-elected administration in the Maldives during a meeting with President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

The gathering also saw the presence of Vice-President-elect Hussain Mohamed Latheef.
During the discussions, Muizzu expressed his optimism regarding the potential for an enhanced and strengthened bilateral relationship between the Maldives and Sri Lanka during his tenure as President.
High Commissioner Sadiq, in his statements, offered assurances to both parties that Sri Lanka is fully committed to providing support and fostering collaboration across various sectors for the development of the Maldives.
