This significant development is aimed at addressing the pressing need for additional educational infrastructure in the region.
The contract for this ambitious project was awarded to Eco Investment Maldives Private Limited, with the company undertaking the responsibility to complete the construction within a timeline of 13 months. The total value of the contract exceeds MVR 10 million, reflecting the commitment of the Ministry of Education to enhance educational facilities in the area.
During a formal agreement signing ceremony held at the Ministry of Education, Senior Policy Director Naushad Ibrahim represented the Ministry, underscoring the government’s dedication to improving educational resources. Eco Investment was represented by its Director, Fazuleen Mohamed, who expressed the company’s commitment to delivering this vital project effectively.
The move to construct new classrooms and multipurpose halls in schools across the region stems from the challenges posed by limited space in government schools.
