The Transitional Committees have raised concerns about the financial stability of various companies as they grapple with delays in receiving payments for government projects.
Transitional Spokesperson Mohamed Firuzul addressed these concerns during a series of press conferences organised by the Office of the President-elect.
According to Firuzul, the government has yet to disburse the funds owed to companies for their involvement in various projects.
Firuzul emphasised that these delays are impacting the cash flow of these businesses.
Additionally, Firuzul pointed out that agencies operating under various ministries have encountered difficulties in fulfilling their responsibilities. Of particular concern is the perceived influence of political factors in obstructing their legal obligations.
Firuzul assured that the incoming government is committed to resolving these issues.
