The highlight of the lineup is the brand-new “Diploma in Media and Public Relations” course, strategically designed to equip students with essential skills applicable to various public relations roles across offices, companies, and resorts. This comprehensive diploma integrates elements from both journalism and public relations, ensuring a balanced curriculum tailored to meet industry demands.

Furthermore, prospective students enrolling in the Diploma in Media and Public Relations can benefit from tuition-free opportunities leading up to their first degree in the field. Commencing in 2025, graduates of the diploma programme will be eligible to pursue further academic endeavours in the related discipline.

In addition to the aforementioned diploma, the Faculty of Arts will also welcome candidates for the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, enabling enrolment for the first and second years of study.

Graduates of the Diploma in Journalism from this faculty have found placement in various media-related positions, enriching the industry with their acquired skills and knowledge.

The “Advanced Certificate in Journalism” serves as a foundational course tailored for individuals who aspire to pursue higher education in journalism and public relations. This certificate programme caters to candidates who have completed their O Levels or are seeking academic avenues without prior completion of A Levels.

In an effort to extend educational opportunities, the university will offer study options tailored for current institution employees, fostering continuous learning and professional development within the workforce.
