Nominations for “National Award for Public Service” To Open On Sunday

The National Awards Committee is gearing up to open nominations for the “National Award for Public Service” on Sunday, February 25. The award aims to honour civil servants who have demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication to their roles within government entities.
In a press release published yesterday, the National Awards Committee disclosed that the detailed criteria for the award will be made available in the Government Gazette.
According to the outlined parameters, eligible candidates must have a remarkable tenure of over 35 years in a government office, agency, or subsidiary where the government holds majority shares.
Both organizations and individual nominees are allowed to put forward deserving candidates.
Recipients of the award will receive a shield, a badge of honour, and a certificate.
The evaluation process, overseen by the National Awards Committee, will take into account various aspects of the nominees’ contributions. Emphasis will be placed on the quality of their work, their significant contributions to the advancement of their respective fields, as well as individual achievements that have left a lasting impact on the community and the nation at large.
