Minister Adam Shareef emphasised the importance of implementing a system facilitating seamless communication between councils and governmental bodies. He underscored the past inefficiencies, where councils incurred substantial costs travelling to Male’ City for meetings with various government entities.

Minister Shareef highlighted the global technological advancements, asserting that councils should leverage these resources for remote discussions with institutions.

The Ministry has also assigned individuals to oversee affairs in each atoll to ensure prompt responses to council requests. Multiple representatives have been designated to each atoll, with state ministers entrusted to oversee atoll affairs.
