Gov’t Opens Call for Expressions of Interest for Hulhumale’ Parking Structures

The government has invited interested parties to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the construction of 15 parking buildings in Hulhumale’.

The project, spearheaded by the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), aims to address the persistent parking challenges in the area while offering secure facilities for vehicle storage.

According to HDC, the proposed parking buildings will not only provide parking solutions but also include commercial units available for business operations. The corporation highlighted that applications focusing on engineering, procurement, construction, and finance models will be prioritised, though EOIs based on alternative models will also be considered.

In the event of multiple submissions, the selection process will focus on the overall quality of the proposals, with particular attention to the model, the operator’s experience, and their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Interested applicants are requested to submit their EOIs by 16 September.
