133 newly inducted police officers were officially sworn into the Maldives Police Service at a ceremony held yesterday.

The event occurred at Iskandhar Koshi, where Civil Court Judge Abdul Nasir Shafeeq administered the oath of office and secrecy to the recruits. Among those present were Chief Inspector of Police Hussain Shareef, Head of Workforce Planning and Management, and Head Inspector of Police Ilyas Mohamed, who leads the Recruitment and Deployment Management Unit.
Of the officers sworn in, 34 were women and 99 were men. Following the formal oath-taking, all officers signed the oath of office, marking their official entry into service.
