17-Year-Old Boy Dies in Fuvahmulah Traffic Accident

A 17-year-old boy has died following a traffic accident in Fuvahmulah yesterday, police have confirmed.

The incident took place at around 2:40am on Husnuheena Magu, where the boy reportedly collided with a wall before losing control of the vehicle and crashing into a street light.

He was transported to hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead at 3:40am.

Authorities have stated that the case is currently under investigation.

This marks the second fatal traffic accident involving a 17-year-old boy in recent weeks, following a similar incident in Malé last month.
